Cyber Essentials (CE) is a UK Government scheme which is operated by the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC).
The purpose of this accreditation is to help defend your business from the most common cyber threats and ensuring you have applied best practice across your IT infrastructure.
There are two levels of certification; CE (self-assessment) CE Plus which includes an assessment from our CE practitioner.
We are an IASME Certifying Body allowing us to manage your end to end certification process in-house.
Cyber Essentials (CE)
This certification is focussed on assessing your technical controls to ensure you have them in place to protect you from the vast majority of common cyberattacks.
It allows you to demonstrate that your business is serious about security, and is proactively managing your cyber threat, through a self-assessment questionnaire.
Our CE certified assessors will guide you through the process.
Once certified, UK organisations with a turnover of less than £20m are eligible for Cyber Liability Insurance.
Many attacks are simple by design, but the state of play is constantly changing and evolving. Meaning threats can come in many disguises all with the same end goal to exploit weakness in your environment.
By completing and maintaining your CE accreditation you lower your threat risk and protect the security of your organisation.
Cyber Essentials Plus
Cyber Essentials Plus follows on from CE by assessing the information provided in the Self-Assessment.
Our CE certified assessor will attend your site and audit your controls. We will work with you to highlight any areas that require improvement to achieve your accreditation.
