Clients utilising our Managed Service Provider (MSP) offering have benefited from the work John has done to introduce our Remote Management and Maintenance (RMM) product. Using Solarwinds to provide a proactive support experience rather than a reactive, issue resolving service. Uptime increases, customer service and satisfaction improved and our customers are more efficient and informed. Anti-Malware, off site backup, network monitoring, patch management, email security, ticketing and remote assistance are all available in a single, easy to use console.
John is a Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH). This qualification is obtained by demonstrating knowledge of assessing the security of computer systems by looking for weaknesses and vulnerabilities in target systems, using the same knowledge and tools as a malicious hacker, but in a lawful and legitimate manner to assess the security of a system or network.
John has also studied a degree in Microbial Biotechnology, NVQ in Paramedic Science and ScotVEC in table tennis (level 2). It is a shame there is no formal qualification in sarcasm. He has worked in pharmaceutics, communications, hospitality, retail and as an MSP. He owns a small business buying and selling whisky and can be frequently found touring Scotland looking for new and exciting bottles. Samples are always well received in our office!
